I would even eat close to half of Troubas contract just to get him out lol - TPC
I dont think we would need to, I think 2m retained would be more than enough to get a team to take him. |

Fact is the Rangers didnt compete at the Panthers level. The players have to buy into that style, but they wont. They will be a good regular season team but will never make it to a SCF with this core. And (frank) Zib and the people who gave me poop for saying he sucked at 5v5 this year. - mdw7413
Not just you, but Tom and I also said 5v5 was a killer, we were told Zib is a good penalty killer. |

why'd my dumbass 6 year old self become a rangers fan. no one in my family was, lived in jersey, should have just went for the state team and actually experienced success in my lifetime. i'm the epitome of proving kids are stupid. - Mtlca66
Yea I grew up in Philly. Why the hell did I become a rangers and cowboys fan. I know nothing but misery lol |

Barring some miraculous late career resurgence by Mika and Trouba, we're cooked for the next 2 years, probably more. Can't win with those on the books for what they give you on the ice against conference final level opponents. |

NMC. I'm telling you rebuild 3.0 is the answer. Let the losing stick to this group. |

Im keeping that 2nd line together and making it the 1st line. I know people are pissed at Panarin, but the line was decent these playoffs. Even with Panarin not scoring much against FL, I believe his presence opened the ice up for Troch and Laf. We actually need people who have talent like him and can score. Id get rid of a bunch more players before him. Also Laf has thrived playing with him |

You may need to keep Panarin anyway mdw. His girlfriend will not want to leave.

Trouba needs to submit a 15 team no trade list nest season. He can be traded Mika, well, we are stuck with him for the next 6 years |

I just wonder, can EDM afford to resign Draisaitl and still manage to keep a decently rostered team knowing that 35%+ of their salary cap is tied up between McD, Drai and Nurse... |

The Mika thing is a catch 22 situation. If you dont approach him, than you eat the issue and deal with it. If you do approach him about whether or not he would be willing to go somewhere, he now could potentially hold resentment. |

I agree with you, Panarin also changed up his style a bit, no constant button hooks into the zone, less stupid cross ice passes, he took some hits and gave a few also. He made some bad passes but he is high risk, high reward.
Mika on the other hand, sucked balls and IMO was the main reason why we lost. |
