Trading for an injury prone, high cap hit, long term signed dman during a supposed rebuild would be the most Flyers thing they could do. |

With Farabee on the block Blues should talk with The Flyers and see if they can work something out. There is history between the two GM’s now. |

Too bad the Blues don’t have Blais anymore. He seems like he would be a Tortz kind of player. |

Depends, would Dvorsky or Stenberg be in the discussion?
I think Army owes the Flyers with the history....

"Find a defenseman who can quarterback their power play"??? Are the Flyers giving up on Jamie Drysdale already? |

I would say no about those two but maybe dean?
Honestly don’t know about Dvorsky or Stenberg can’t watch them so it’s just what I can read about them. Dvorsky is probably a no trading person at this moment. Blues are high on him and seems to be next call up or make the team out of camp |

Army could owe a bit to the Flyers after the Hayes deal. But we are the team that took him and Tortz and him didn’t have to argue all season or create a problem in the locker room. Hayes by all accounts ya was good for the Blues, at the price Blues are paying |

Yeah, yeah yeah...I don't got time for logic.
I doubt Dvorsky could be had as a 1 for 1, depends on the package put together. Although during draft year I wasn't a big fan of his and still unsure what he will become....
But Stenberg would be a great pickup for the Flyers or 2024 #16. Again not 1 for 1, but I could see a package put together involving Farabee or Konecny (not sure St. Louis would want to re-sign him).
The biggest problem with St. Louis is those pesky NTC on their defensemen that could cause snags, not that the Flyers should target any of them. The problem being the Flyers would be asked to take a garbage contract with them.
Not Hayes, NO TAKE BACKS!

This is actually pretty interesting. I was just reading on another website that said the following:
Rumblings Wednesday over a potential Ottawa/Philadelphia trade have led to endless speculation over what that could mean. I’m not sure what it may look like, but here’s what we know: the Flyers have had interest in Jakob Chychrun and the Senators have had interest in Scott Laughton. Philly is also looking to move up in the Draft. Do the dots connect?
So it isn't just Ek hearing this. Multiple sources are.

I believe the framework is set up revolving around whether Ottawa can land Ullmark from Boston...what would go there and come back to Philly.

I believe the Sens have a 1st priority of goaltending.
Their second priority is a top 6 forward.
And, their 3rd priority is a top 4 RHD.
We understand the Boston rumours. Cannot figure out how the Flyers would enter into discussions at this point. |

Apparently, Ottawa has been in love with the Scotty for a couple years.
When did Giroux sign with Ottawa?

there has zero rumours, that i know o or seen, of OTT being interested in laughton anywhere, he is mentioned because OTT kept saying they want vets and frankly laughton aint the kind OTT should go after, just because a player in old dont mean they are the kind of "vets" teams want

Playing on non playoff crappy teams (also health issues). Healthy + good team, he can easily hit close to 20 and well above 41 |

Ok spoke a little quick, seeing them playing low in the lineup last week of season - a 2nd line winger? and 3rd line center.
