Heard the league where Demidove is developping, the MHL , isn't what one would call a standard.
That's what I understand too. I believe it's not even an AHL equivalent. Maybe ECHL. So being a standout player in that level would be tough how to translate success to the NHL. I'm not even sure if Kaprizov or Michkov can be a comparison because I think they played at higher levels.
Can someone give GMDW a 10 sided dice and whoever's name is on when he rolls is the one he picks? Everyone has strengths, everyone has holes. It's a matter of development IMO, something the CBJ has not always been successful at.
Nope - sure, he's a sniper, but "defense" isn't part of his arsenal.
My choice hands-down, is Lindstrom. He's had some injury issues, which he's healed from, and hopefully doesn't mean he's another Ryan Murray. But other than that he's ready to go. Maybe a little acclimation time in Cleveland, but he's a 200 ft. center.
Our D pipeline is in real good shape right now so I'd lean toward an O pick at #4, and D with the 2nd rnd pick. (Keep this year's pick.)
