I totally agree Tuevo Teravainen (3yrs & 5.4mil) is a whole lot better experienced option than at his departure...but also had more tha head hits that were concussion, eh?

Martinook...well, I like his game, enthusiastic attitude.

I see Martinook as a possible trade deadline launch, if they have signed him, along with Martinez...unless you think they are making the playoffs....

KD has added to the team but he’s been responsible with his free agent choices. This is a rarity on day one of free agency.

I have not been a fan of KD since the trade of DeBrincat, but I certainly would flip if he found a way to bring Marty Neces here. He's 25 years old and one of the fastest skaters in hockey. He's exactly the type of addiction this team needs to help Bedard towards playoff contention.

To be fair, Seth Jones was also an antivaxer and seemed into some weird conspiracy poop on the socials at the beginning of the pandemic.

Not condoning it but these dudes with a 3rd grade level education are probably not going to make the best decisions with science or politics.

Unfortunately there were so many stories, theories, misinformation etc. that most people on both sides had questions about the validity of taking the vaccine or not taking it. And through no fault of anyone that pandemic hit quickly and hit hard and recommendations by the science and political communities created confusion and panic. And the bigger problem today is the distrust communities and even families have of each other. It’s over with now, bringing up Bertuzzi’s reluctance to get vaccinated now doesn’t do anything productive and is bound to start that sorry debate all over again.

Not for nothing, but he got infected and recovered. If he had concerns about the shot, he was well within his rights to refuse it. He knew what the consequences were for his actions and took whatever punishment came his way.

This fool hung his team out to dry (missing 9 games voluntarily) and missed out on $400,000 because he’s a right wing nut. His teammates defended him in the press but I can’t imagine a team sport mentality in the NHL like this boding well for one guy ditching his bubble playoff team for 9 games.

Leave him alone. He wears the mask, takes the shots, gets on the bus and the world is melting/freezing.

But missed large chucks of te last two seasons, and I don't know if that was simply some Vagas Cap strategies, or he gets dinged and need maintenence time.

The other guy, Bertuzzi...well I am have mixed feelings, after he decided the Covid-19 shot was a hoax, and decided that, even though he wouldn't be able to fufill his RedWings contract as he couldn't cross the border to do his job in Canada.
