I think that's more to burn the first year of his contract than anything else. He played one full college season and three NHL games. He's going to need to get some pro seasoning. If he beats someone out for a spot, then he'll have earned it. Not a bad thing.

Including Slaggert and Nazar (and Hall who still shows as on LTIR), the Hawks have 15 forwards signed.

So yeah, most likely Slaggert and Nazar start in RFD. A lot of these signings are pretty low dollar, so the Hawks can deal with them pretty easily.

A lot of these moves are depth and insurance when hall AA and marazk go down with injures. Also think there is a trade coming just a hunch.

I think Foligno, Maroon and Smith are part time players. I think KD, i mean LR is going to rotate them in and out of the line up.

Reichel, Nazar and Slaggert same thing, stay with the big club but if the long hockey season gets to them they can sit and watch a game or 2

Considering AAs groin, Hall and Ilya coming off knee surgery it'll be touch and go with them

It's complicated. He signed his ELC at 19 entitling him to 4 years OR 160 games til losing exemption. But as a 19 year old he played 11 games with Chicago which, according to the rules, cost him a year. So he's down to three years which were 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24. His three years are up.

Didn't like Leshunov over Demidov, on the FA think the Bertuzzi and TT are good signings, but the other guys are just meh.

Guess they are 1 yr deals but it just seems like you just signed 3 Corey Perrys to play on the 4th line.

Totally the opposite of how you want to play (fast).
