So joking aside, I'm more than a little pissed at Sweeney.....again.
Had plenty of time to get at least a framework of a deal done, at least unofficially. It never reads well when there is no news about ongoing negotiations. The optics make it look like they didn't even start talking about an extension until after the Ullmark trade.
I'm sure there is more going on, but seriously wtf. Got a big portion of bruins nation going "a deal will get done". Great. Sweeney also had plenty of time to hammer out a deal after they got eliminated and before they traded ullmark.

Looks like Zadorov is going with the number 91 (because it's 16 upside-down which is his normal number and of course isn't available) and the reports are that he asked Savard if that was okay...class move. |
