I only watched the first period and a half but that was one of the worst games I've seen them play this year, although it's only been what, seven or eight games? Surprised they salvaged a point out of it, they did not look ready to play, or maybe the Hurricanes are just that much better?
The Pettersson, Garland, Hoglander line was absolute garbage, and how many giveaways did Miller have? |

Not a good game except for Lankinen and Pius. |

lol as stated before Petey ain't gonna succeed playing with the Shrimp and Nils b!tch full time. Tocchet needs to change that.

Well thanks Yorky.
Nothing like a lesson early in the season to right the ship.
The good thing is the Canucks found a way to get a point and almost won in end of regulation. Resilience in a game they didn’t deserve to win.
Anyway, Canes were the better team and Canucks must learn to buy in totally. It’s only getting tougher in the schedule. |

Agreed they didn’t deserve to win and glad they lost. Even though Miller had 2pts, it was maddening the blatant giveaways. And OT was brutal with him disinterested and coasting.

It does seem that way. I liked the Hurricanes speed and relentless forechecking and I hated the lackadaisical effort from most of the Canucks team. |

It's a tough way to play. You've gotta be prepared to outbattle your guy because they're going to be in your face all night. If you're used to skating around and setting up it can be pretty overwhelming and disheartening at first. Thought the Canucks did a good job of shaking themselves out of it though and pushing back once they got more comfortable with what Carolina was doing. |

Could have Necas plus for Petey and now the team would need to add multiple firsts to unload him. Salary retention likely required as well. The poutersson contract has officially closed the teams window and they need to start a rebuild.
I had the misfortune of attending the game. Terrible effort. No positives other than Lankinan but we lose him next year unfortunately. At this point they should see if they can extend him and look to trade Demko |

They are reverting back to some bad habits from 2 seasons ago. Maybe there needs to be a few more scraps at practise after Tocchet bag skated them to a point of puking. |

I saw something funny on X, said Miller will always end the game in OT, just not sure if it'll be for, or against, the Canucks. He just let Aho drift in behind him and score with ease. |

Just what the team needs another tall soft Euro. Necas had 53 points last year, 71 is his career high, Petey supposedly had a bad year last year and he had 89 points. Necas would get eaten alive by the fans and media playing in Vancouver. |

Necas at least competes. Pettersson isn’t an NHL calibre player at this point. I’m sure they are trying to move him but it’s going to be a challenge |

It will be less painful for you if you accept the truth now. When he is moved I fear it will destroy you. There will be other soft players for you to drool over in the future. Don’t get discouraged Lefty! |

I meant it was part of a package, obviously they aren't equivalent players. |
