I am also a big fan of this league! I hope I am next weeks winner!
I think the Montreal Victorie is my favourite of the jerseys,
but I kinda like the cleverness of the Boston Fleet jersey and Uniqueness of the Sirens jersey. Fantastic stuff. Keep it going Eklund! Thanks for the great coverage! |

For privacy reasons he isn't announcing the winners. He is asking each winner if they are comfortable being publicly recognized. I guess so far, every single winner wants to stay private! If I am lucky enough to win one of these great prizes I will definitely allow him to go public. I'll even wear the jersey and use that as my new profile picture. Hope I win... |

The only people that will wear those jerseys are the players and a few close family members |

Eklund: This Week's Jersey Giveaway: Take your pick of a new PWHL Jersey! - Eklund
My jersey rank.
1. Montreal — bliss!! The best
2. Minnesota — the purple is Fire!
3. Boston — reminds me of a sideways Whakers jersey. It’s heat.
4. Toronto — love the blue and yellow
5. Ottawa — too much like Calgary and Cleveland but the red is sharp
6. New York — don’t love the name or jersey |

Zak! Ya but did you see that Montreal jersey tho!
I want to see that in person and then buy 1 for all my friends. An all time best.
HA your #2 is like my least favourite! I donno, it looks unfinished to me, again probably in person it may look better.
And you have New York last when its my 2nd or 3rd best. Its Unique I like it!

So go through a charade of having a contest, taking photos of the prizes, but then not actually giving them to anyone? What does Ek gain doing that??

Exactly. If you did that Meltzer and Augello would probably never go along with it.

Montreal would be good if the crest was smaller and the weird bright blue accents were gone.
The rest are underwhelming. |

Hey Ek:
You need a new Leafs blogger.
I'll do it (using AI) for a free season ticket.
Here's a sampling of my work:
Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to take on the Ottawa Senators in a highly anticipated Battle of Ontario at Scotiabank Arena. The Maple Leafs, coming off a dominant 4-1 victory over Montreal, are looking to extend their winning streak to three games. Led by the dynamic duo of Mitchell Marner and Auston Matthews, Toronto's offense has been firing on all cylinders, averaging 3.15 goals per game.
On the other side, the Senators are eager to build on their recent 3-2 OT win over Boston. Ottawa will be bolstered by the return of center Shane Pinto, who missed eight games due to injury. Pinto's presence will add depth to the Senators' lineup and provide a boost to their offensive capabilities. With both teams hungry for a win, fans can expect an intense and thrilling game filled with high-stakes action and fierce competition.
Who are you rooting for tonight?
Alex Steeves is an emergency callup.
Alex Steeves is a promising forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs, known for his impressive scoring ability and relentless work ethic. Signed as an undrafted college free agent in 2021, Steeves has consistently been one of the top scorers for the Toronto Marlies, the Leafs' AHL affiliate. In his fourth season with the organization, he has already tallied nine goals and three assists in just ten games, putting him among the league leaders in the AHL.
Steeves' journey to the Leafs has been marked by his determination and perseverance. Despite limited opportunities with the big club, he has made the most of his time in the AHL, showcasing his offensive skills and ability to perform under pressure. His recent call-up to the Maple Leafs on an emergency basis highlights his potential and the confidence the organization has in his abilities. As he continues to develop and gain more experience, Steeves could become a valuable asset for the Leafs, providing depth and scoring prowess to the lineup.
Do you think Steeves will get more chances to play with the Leafs this season? |
