Emil Andrae has not been terrific. He has had one terrific game against the worst team in the league. Has had some positive along with some negative which one can expect.

You clearly play him the rest of the way then evaluate.

With the boilerplate format Bill has used for the past two years at Hockeybuzz you could just have AI do the same thing.

31 minutes for Sanheim last night. Will he be this years Couturier with his legs falling off by late January?

A little long. But I can understand that with the nature of the assignment. A good start. I would prefer a blog that is more of a topic for conversation. Hit the highs and lows and leave out the editorializing.

We need someone connected with the team like Meltzer was. We don't need an opinion piece from someone. I can do that. We need more depth here.

honestly, you could just post the gameday lineup and that'd be enough to get a conversation going

How has the Jett looked since return, point totals seem ok.

especially considering he's only played 8 games.

looking at that roster, what jumps out to me is american defenseman Tommy Budnick. Granted, he's only played 7 games... but he's a +10 on a team where the next closest player in +/- is a +2 ... could it be a typo?

Ken, forgetting that it sucks to read last week's news, a fairly decent job for your first attempt. A bit wordy and probably could have said the same things in 1/2 the space without the excessively descriptive text. I'd give you an A for effort and a B for substance. Keep trying.

Ken,

Good job. It’ll take some time to refine things to fit the blog-style of a quick read but so far so good. Glad to have you on board. Remember, we’re all gonna be comparing you to Bill until your style becomes the standard here.

PS don’t be afraid to criticize the team and the coach.

Wild. Yes. A bad start but 2 seasons removed from an epic reg season. Limited playoff success though

Looking at his regular season record it's incredible. He is getting the axe 🪓 for a team overdue for a rebuild like the pens.
