Was at the game last nite, lots of energy in the building!
A few observations: The 5 on 3 PP passed up 3 potential shots, choosing to pass instead of blasting it. Morrisey should have shot early on in the PP with Valardi screening Bob, and a clear seam to the net but chose to pass. That 5 on 3 looked very similar to last years PP where they snap it around and never shoot as they are looking for the perfect pass. Shoot the puck!
Miller can really blast it! I was in the lower bowl, 14 rows and got good look at him hammering one shot that I am sure must have broken the Panthers players foot. I support shot first mentality like Pionk and Miller hammering it from the point.
If the team does go out and try to land another 2nd line centre, who do they get and what do they give up?
