This is what is very irritating. Sure fire Lavy and give the players a pass yet again. This is why they let goodrow and Trouba go but it’s all of them (the older players)

Wish I knew what they can do, barring a massive revamp again.

Like the Islanders, it's always the coach that is the problem and never the owners, GM, players.

the zib turnover is still killing me.

it means nothing, b/c this team is dead, but to make a lazy ass board play and then go to the front of the net and box up lindgren?

what does this guy gotta do to sit a game or two?

Ya- and no matter how low you sink, there is always more to room to go. It took me longer than most but i now agree that it is time to trade those vets that can be traded. Thats a bright side for an Islander fan - Misery loves company.

whats interesting is that if they don't turn it around and become buyers this deadline, they actually have so much cap space at this year's deadline they could become trade facilitators and replenish some picks

What irrates me most is that in the O zone - he does nothing but stand on the wall and look to pass. I never see him taking the puck to net anymore. Maybe the Chytil head injury shook him up- who fucing knows

Lou has been horrible with the roster and he blames the coaches when it does not work. What sane GM gives Mayfield and Engvall 7 years?

if lavy is insistent on keeping him on the ice 20 minutes per, and PP1 time - i'd move him into 16s bumper spot on PP 1.

he can't be shooting from off the wall anymore. he isnt ovi, yeah he was hot with it for a while but it seems like any shot he takes is off the left wing wall. get into the middle and let it rip.

Looks like that could be the route. Players and GM bigger issue than the coach

Coaches have it even tougher in sports today. The GM and analytic people want to be coaches as well.

If you are going to fire the coach I don't know how you don't give a serious look at Vally. If not for a head coaching position, at least an assistant.

My only issue with lavi is why he hasn’t benched or scratched zib/miller/libdgren

If they want to make a statement healthy scratch as many guys as possible and call up the rempes, blidhs, mackeys, robertsons, etc. Idk if that possible roster wise, but the idea is everyone at once would be a serious statement by the org. They’re gonna lose games anyway at least give them something to think about before they fire people
