And I used to walk 5 miles to school, uphill both ways. Goalies don’t play hurt as much these days. Some guys (Freddie) have less tolerance than others. The position is too important and there’s not an endless supply of replacements like there are for skaters.

Leafs have had 4 back-to-backs in the last 3 weeks and have had a pretty busy schedule. I’ll take a chance on a loss or two if it means we have both Woll and Stolarz ready to.

Max Domi seems to be playing in the middle of a pretty good third line right now. I’m not against an upgrade but I’m also not in a hurry to bring someone in.

Schenn was 2 years ago, and I brought him up a month ago (trade for RoR + Schenn) ..it was pretty much unanimously shot down

and I agree they were good. but its 2 years later. so not sure if he hold up. but he cant be worse than Benny boy

Benoit is last in CF%, FF%, shot%, GF%, xgf%, scf%, hdcf%

and most are not close, he is miles worse. Timmons shows well across the board.

zero offence and below average D to bad D is a bad combo

Id think serious contenders wouldn't have a player like that as a reg. not a 6th... but a 7 or 8

also, Im not saying they have to be good, just tread water and not get crushed

Yeah, it wouldn’t have to be Shenn but a guy like that. I really don’t pay close attention to other teams to know what RDs would fit the bill. If it was Shenn, Preds would have to retain.

You're exactly right. Rielly is a simple fix....he is much better with simple play type defensive dmen....Schenn, Hainseys of the world.

Would be a much better D line up IMO.

I would rather they focus on upgrading the bottom 6 when every one is healthy...

3rd Line:

-Robertson will get killed in the playoffs, and a 2/3C who can fill in for JT or Matthews in the event of injury would be smart, cuz Holmberg has fizzled all the way out.

4th Line:

UPGRADE, Kampf, Lorentz

Dewar is....well...meh. Kinda like a 4th line version of Holmberg, brings nothing of note. He doesn't suck, but he's just not really good at one thing except for looking like Marchand and Timothy Chalamet had a baby.

Someone who hits a bit harder, scores a tiny bit at least and PKs would be good.

(Ya, Kampf too, but can't fix it all and I don't mind Kampf, quietly does a good job.)
