Real tough of Wilson there
- CanuckDon

He does his job. Garland slashed him earlier, every team needs a Wilson.

Play Brannstrom for insurance he has puck skills
- Nighthawk

Yeah I mean honestly they have two dmen available to them right now that have any ability to move the puck. My feelings on Myers are well documented, but at some point it’s on the coaches who put him in positions like PP or OT. It’s tried and true that it’s an absolute clusterfu*k with him out there in those positions. Tonight I almost felt bad for him cause you can see how terrified he is and it just makes him play even worse.

If only Quinn could play all 5 minutes of ot.Canucks desperately need another D they can count on.

To me, scratching brannstrom should have been the commitment that they are … and all 2 mins of a PP

Not sure why they dress Deharnais, he doesn’t play much, brings nothing to the team.

Myers and Garland cost them the game there. Good hustle by Millsy
- CanuckDon

Myers made a nice rush and then makes a low percentage pass to DeBrusk, he’s played 1000 games and he’s still making bonehead plays, he is who he is. Hughes can’t play the whole 5 minutes, Myers is the next best option when you’re looking at Forbort, Soucy, Desharnais & Juulsen on the bench.

All three guys went to the corner and forgot to defend, just low IQ hockey. It was fun to watch but the Canucks don’t have enough skilled guys.

DeBrusk is not really a puck possession guy, he’s scored all but three of his goals within seven feet of the net. Boeser isn’t a great skater and he doesn’t exactly have soft hands either, both are shooters. Beyond Hughes, Petey & Miller they don’t have much, which is why they have a terrible OT record.

Rempe would flourish under Tocchet. Grew up in Calgary hating the Oilers.

He chose not to sign, they offered him close to what he got. Can’t force him to sign. Just didn’t want to give him a NMC, but yes, they miss him in regulation.

Branstrom is not an NHL player. He has the worst 5v5 numbers on the team by a mile. He is (frank)ing awful. Unfortunately the Canucks are (frank)ed

Those were some pretty big and robust teams that the Canucks were playing against, when Miller was out.

JT Miller, is having to play #1 offensive centre, shutdown centre, power forward, top forechecker and tough guy.

Pretty sad how management has set this team up, but they crumbled to pussies like you.

Seriously though 3 F’s beat any other D going out there. If the slug Boeser is out there many others could go out.
