From Vantel...
Podkolzin has twice a many goals as Hoglander and 6 points ahead. He has one less goal than Blueger and Heinen and within 3 points of each. Cheaper than all three - VanHockeyGuy
LOL. I miss that guy but he is missing a critical piece of context. I would out score Pod by 350% of I was stapled to the second best player in the world |

So the master Canuck troll Eliot Friedman couldn’t resist weighing in on this JTM to Rangers rumor. Of course he made out as if the Canucks were rejected in the trade lol. See below from 32 thoughts:
“I also think it was actually a bigger deal, and one of the issues is that Vancouver adores Braden Schneider, who the Rangers do not want to trade. This would be the second time New York has rejected a Vancouver attempt for him.”
Sorry but it’s not what happened it’s what he thinks. Wonderful gives legitimacy to the likes of other troll nutters like BigBa/Arty etc about their trade thoughts.
In the end all this noise is only good for one thing for the players to shut it out and buckle down for rest of the season. It’s just the health issues now. Can they all get back and up to speed? That is what will really determine how competitive the team can be this time around.
I will add, Willander, inserted like a Mcavoy was coming out of same NCAA program, may help in a playoff run. Especially paired with QH shore up the right side. Allowing Hronek to strengthen the second pairing. Then the question is does Soucy and Forbort do it for the Left Side? This is where the accrual and TDL plan may allow Canucks add a D do bump Soucy down to 3rd pair with Myers. It doesn’t need to be a block buster trade just one that improves on Soucy. - Quinn's Quest
If Willy is a call up 1st pair isn’t the place for him. 2nd pairing maybe 3rd pairing yes. He needs to get his feet wet not jump intk the deep end.
Hughes Hronek
Soucy Myers
Forbort Willy
In game TOI goes as the bottom pairings fair. Myers is still PK & Willy 2nd PP |

Athletic article today by Drance and the Rangers' writer, discussing a potential JT Miller trade... they don't think it's likely, but this is the offer Drance put out.
Would 100% make that trade.
However, someone mentioned in another article that RHD might not be Van's biggest need at the moment with Hronek and Willander in the top 4 next year. Maybe having a better LHD is of more value going forward?
This was the Rangers' writer's offer, which I think is trash. - NewYorkNuck
Yes to the 1st trade but NYR won’t bite imo
2nd trade no hope in hell. Van says 👎🏻👎🏻 |

I’m excited to watch Petey fall down tonight. I wonder if that’s why he has an ouchy on his knee all the time - CanuckDon
Why can he not develop lower body strength? Centre of gravity is his problem. Needs to Grouse grind it with the Sedins til he gets there Upper body no need to work on. |

I don’t know what you’ve been hearing at the Roxy, but Willander doesn’t play in the NHL much less top 4 minutes that would not help his development. We need two top 4 d, have for years now. Hopefully they pull a move off - neem55
We also need bottom pair D that can push for top 4D. Young D groomed while insulated if NHL ready. Pylons we’ve too many. 3rd pairing only need 1 that can PK. |

Listen you dumb little (frank)er. I’m simply stating that a LHD is a bigger need and are cheaper to acquire. Schneider is also overrated and apparently not available. Got it ? - CanuckDon
Yes LHD is & agree is more needed. RHD too costly so draft & develop &/or UFA RHD & makes cap sense. |

At 19 years old McAvoy stepped into a very good 112 point Bruins team and averaged 22:09 minutes a night. It's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility for Willander. - Pacificgem
Insulated on a good D corp helped. We need like Don said a top 4 LHD to gel with Willy. |

Millers only attitude problem is he is too nice in the room. He should have thrown Petey’s PS4 in the team showers - CanuckDon
Prlcks that want to win are not an issue. Media & fan slurpering media are. Skill sets & mean like Miller has is rare. You put up with the shlt when he’s himself. If he’s sucking you bust his ass. |

I love that Petey is a very good player, you absolutely need skilled players to win, but he's soft as melted butter, which annoys me to no end. He's a coward in a scrum and that drives me mental!! - Pacificgem
I luv Petey he just needs support & imo 11.6m says he has to be better & all of the time. What he lacks needs that. |

Vantel can’t come here and state that? Guy contributes too much to not be heard. He doesn’t need someone else to do his talking. |

We had big Z and let him go because his aggression made our fans feel unsafe. And sure enough, our only remaining, physical player is about to be sent packing because he brings up insecurities with our fanbase - CanuckDon
Pu33y fans rather ship out Miller. No clue what it takes to build a complete team & moving Miller only sets them back. If not a huge haul do nothing & all is good. |
