I just wanted to see how far down they could drag the intellectual bar. Between
the 2 of them it was sinking pretty past there for a while.

You know who I kinda miss ... Mikheyev. I know he never scored on his opportunities, but I miss his speed. Seems to be a much slower team this year with not many rushes where guys challenge with speed.

I just meant some speed. Team seems so slow and generating very few shots. I know he ain't the solution either, but actually Lafferty too. The only ones I see use their speed much are a couple of the new guys in Sherwood and Debrusk ... and Debrusk is sporadic. Garland pretty quick too but he's more shifty most of the time than flatline speed. It just feels much more boring, even the wins like against the laughs seem like slow games.

Edit: Podz seems to be doing pretty well in Edm too given the opportunity. I know we don't have a Draisaitl for him to play with, but still taking advantage.

If you watch Miller iso-cam style, he gives several small hints every game that he's checked out of the current situation. Not sure if he wants to leave Vancouver, but you can tell he wants something to change.

I mean, he does. Like his care metre is dialed way way down. Dramatically. Like someone said to him hey, you need to cool it ... and his response is ok, I'll show you cool.

Speed is great agree but we lack skill and scoring which we had with a different roster last season. Pretty apparent now. I think they can turn it around but man they need to go on an 8 game win streak lol. And we have seen no signs yet of that happening.

The biggest problem with our team is the media. If they would just stop making mountains out of molehills it would help the team. We could win 10 in a row, and the moment we lose 1 game they will pick the team apart and start the doom and gloom.
