He's playing terrible enough to warrant a scratch.

This isnt just a case of offense falling off... like you said, a liability. Living up to his reputation of when he arrived here... terrible defensively and why he was being played as a winger by his previous teams. Hard to imagine a player as good as him on faceoffs being used as a winger for several seasons unless you can't be trusted.
