My predictions, positive and negative:
1. Positive: Werenski doesn't get hurt.
2. Positive: US does not reach the final so Werenski has fewer chances to get hurt.
3. Positive: CBJ reveals that Chinakov, Jenner, Monahan, and Marchenko are back on the ice and can play by March 1.
4. Positive: If US plays in the final, they win it in memory of Johnny Hockey.
1. Negative: Werenski gets hurt, is done for season. Playoff chances disappear immediately.
2. Negative: Werenski gets hurt in final, US loses to Canada, and he is done for the season. Playoff chances disappear faster than immediately.
3. Negative: Chinakov and Jenner suffer injuries at end of recovery and are lost for rest of the season during break.
4. Negative: Monahan's wrist takes 2 weeks longer than expected to heal, and by then we are closer to the #1 pick than a playoff spot, and CBJ keeps him on IR.
5. Negative: GMDW makes silly trade for rental during break and the player fails to help the CBJ make it to the playoffs.

Being a CBJ fans since the beginning of the franchise, I am sure the negative predictions will happen.

Being a positive, hopeful person and not a Sabres fan, I can hope one or two of the positive predictions will happen.
