The Panthers are not playing like a top-tier team. Seth Jones is not a top-six-tier defenseman. Marchand is here only for a cup of coffee and will not be able to gel with the team. Tkachuk let his team down when he went all out at the four-nation game and injured himself, taking himself out of the picture. Even if his injury heals, he will have to rehabilitate and will not be a factor in the playoffs. The Panthers have no prospects in the farm team, and their defensive play is shoddy and boring. |

The Panthers barely pulled it out against a nonplayoff team. I wonder if Bennett will be out long with a lower-body injury. Panthers are getting beat to the puck by opposing teams. |

It seems that they actually miss Ekblad.
Team is slacking on the details lately. Lots of sloppy play/passing that we’ve gotten used to not seeing them do. Hope they sort it all out over these days off this week.
