Yikes. The regression, the gaps in coverage, the defensive breakdowns/lapses..... This is truly painful. There are no more words.

Excited to see MBN & ASP come to NA. GR will be a pretty good team once those kids get their sea legs!

They knew before going into this game it was going to be gritty. Ottawa is hungry & showed it. We on the other hand did not show grit or hunger until it was too late. Really too bad cuz the fans deserve better. Being a Die-Hard CUBS fan, I can say "there's always next year".
I'll probably get flack for being a CUBS fan in MI, but ....

You can't say they didn't have their chances. Nearly half the first period Detroit was on the powerplay.

The tackle by Tkachuk that lead to Stutzle's goal probably should have been called too. I thought the Perron goal might have been too many men on the Sens as well. Weird sequence along by the bench then he gets sent.

Detroit had to have that one. Amazing the number of ex-sens players in that game. Some playing well, some not so much.

That’s the question. Here are the scenarios. He wants to get in and get going, signs it and reports to GR. What we saw in football and basketball - a club is scouting him, gets his agent to reach out via a mutual contact and offers $$ to stay in school (possibly transfer). The Big10 will be one of the biggest players in NIL with billions in available funds.

The hope is he wants to be a pro asap. The holdup would be if he wants to become a UFA, pocket some $$$ for the wait. Doing a video on March Madness soon. NIL has killed the “Cinderella” teams. The ratings benefitted by seeing 9 million tune in to week one for bigger matchups, but the smaller schools had talent transfer out and take the money.
