Patrick was right. There is a reason Duclair has bounced around forever. Another bad move by Lou. Lou is responsible for this mess of a roster and the owners better wake up. |

I believe Sens tried to sign him to a 3 year * 4 mil/season deal and he said no and decided to represent himself. He lost millions of dollars and seems to be a bit of a headcase. I liked him on the Sens, but taking a leave of absence because your coach pooped on you is really weak. I'm going to assume other stuff is going on, but if not... Yikes. Islanders signed a dud. |

It would be very weak if he is going on leave just for getting called out by Patrick.

Through 11 seasons Duclair is now on his 9th NHL team. For me that would raise some red flags about his attitude, performance, and ability to fit in with others.
That being said, Patrick Roy needs to keep comments like this out of the media. |

Declare is a mediocre talent. Roy should conduct himself much more professionally. Bottom line Lou and Roy need to go. Lou thought Duclair would give him secondary scoring well 4 years is a long time.
The Isles need real re-tool and not by a dinosaur!

Absolutely!
First rule of management is “praise in public, chastise in private”. Roy is an idiot! I’m not qualifies to speak about Duclair. I’m sure there is too much going on that we don’t see. That being said, whatever he has going personally, I hope he gets it worked out. If he was smart, he’d come back and play his ass off, or take the demotion and the check. Taking your puck and going home, isn’t very smart. |

Roy is an bumhole, but he was right...and its refreshing to hear someone call out these spoiled wimps.
So depressing to see these entitled soft pansies like Miller and Duclair running away and bailing on their teams cause their feelings got hurt |
