Keep the streak going. Wins now can only hurt the team.

They are a mess. Last I checked... your team gave up the all-time-record-tying goal to Ovenchicken, and they are still 2nd-last in the league.
No one creates a mess like Chicago.
Congrats!

On a positive note, never saw Morgan geekie getting close to 30 goals. Not bad. |

Nice to see him finding a new level. Wonder how much it will cost to resign him |

Annnnd hes gone.
The one thing I can count on good ol' Donny and the boys to do is (frank) something up and throw someone else under the bus for it. |

So, willing to eat crow when warranted and previously I have been down on Pasta about his leadership and such. I've taken a turn on that position. What I have seen over the last month or so is someone trying to pull everyone along and right the ship...generally not working, but that's a talent level issue more than anything else. He's the only one left on the ice wearing a letter and I have to give him his dues.
On a similar note, although still not really showing up on the stat sheet, Lysell has looked pretty decent over the last several games. He's been tenacious and generally doing most of the right things. Might be something there afterall. |

Pasta has shown that he should be the next captain of this team. He is the heart and soul of the club now.
I think they need to give Lysell more time in the NHL. His game is keeping up with everyone, but it just hasn't shown on the scoresheet. I have my doubts about him being a permanent fixture in the top six, but I think he will get to the point where he can be a middle six contributor. |

It's going to be up to Lysell whether he becomes an NHL regular or not. He has the speed and skill to make it but kind of reminds me of Yakupov to be honest. The skills are present but does he have the desire to buy in, mature and grow his game? To be seen. Hopefully he does.
Yakupov was thrown to the fire and flamed out real fast in the NHL. The Bruins let Lysell try to grow his game in the AHL. How he takes that will be on him. Hopefully he gets a good run next season.

I dont think he has anything left to give the AHL. Let him play in the NHL. If he cant find his game, the will be a forever AHLer after being sent down or he can be a small part of a trade for something else.
He can keep up at the NHL level, but the scoring hasnt been there. I'm willing to give him a larger sample size next year and roll the dice. |

I would like to see what Lysell can do with a larger sample size next year and preferably a different coach. Sacco is not good. But yeah, it will be up to him. |

Sacco is definitely not the guy. No fire at all with him. Doesn't seem like a motivator either. I am sure the hockey knowledge is there but there have been too many occasions where he calls a timeout after they just gave up two goals in 30 seconds and it looks like he's whispering.
Not sure who the next guy should be. |

I would like to see them be a bit more progressive and give a college coach a try. I think the coaching retreads just aren't worth it at this point.
Give someone like David Carle out of Denver University a shot. Or someone of that college pedigree. |

I tend to agree. Carle should be on the list. The coaches coming out of college haven't exactly been taking the league by storm either . Dave Quinn and Hakstol being prime examples. The only retread I would be on board with is Bruce Cassidy. |

Somehow I dont think Cassidy will ever consider it
And yeah. College coach is a bit of a gamble, but I think its worth it. None of the retreads seem to be able to get over the hump and get their teams to a championship anymore. |
