The BJ's will take it because of their home record and offensive firepower.

I don’t disagree with you. It’s just so random when it comes down to one game and anything can happen honestly. But logically you make a lot of sense.

I think Montreal wins tonight, and obviously, that'll do it.

Best team in hockey all year and no reporting the Winnipeg Jets section
.If this is a hockey site it has to be fixed. We had someone for a few weeks but gave us a summary of the games and I can read these anywhere.

Habs play Carolina (Slumping which benefits the Habs)

Jackets play Islanders (Islanders are also slumping)

I hope the Habs lose to Carolina, which they likely will because Rod will make sure they go into the playoffs on a positive. This will drag it out to the last day of the regular season, and let Columbus control their own fate.

A hot Columbus team will face a relaxed Washington team. This will be interesting.

Blue Jackets!!! who would want the red, white and blue in the playoffs, we are all better off without them

These BuzzCast's have been very refreshing, really good to have new perspectives and different voices. I'd tune in for a couple a months, I don't think we need one everyday! When it comes to season previews, the draft, the deadline, and the playoff previews I can see those weeks having more than one! But don't need 5 days a week!

No one (including me) expected the Habs to make the playoffs during this rebuild phase. Anything that happens in the playoffs is gravy at this point.

Most Disappointing Seasons

5) Detroit - After falling so short in 2024, they miss again

4) Boston - it was coming eventually, just like PIT

3) Buffalo - they never will be good, sucks for fans

2) NY Rangers - how this team not even make the playoffs

1) Nashville - Stamkos, Marchessault, Skjei & others cost about $125M in contracts, only got em a lottery pick

Most Positive/Surprising Seasons

5) Columbus - Gave their fans hope all year after a tough situation

4) Ottawa - what a turn around from DJ Smith & Jacques. Great finish

3) Montreal - One of the best teams past few months. Young talent!

2) Winnipeg - Easily #1 too. President's trophy with 116!

1) Washington - from 8th to 1st place in East. OV record.
