Well done Sean thank you!!

From Twitter:

'Bouchard is like that toxic girlfriend you can't get rid of. She'll give you the highest of highs then flat out leave you feeling like a worthless idiot. You want to leave her, and then BAM then she makes up for it by sucking the chrome off a trailer hitch. It's that never ending cycle of love. What's that SugarLand song called...where you are stuck like glue? That's Evan Bouchard and the city of Edmonton at present'

Dominant game by the Oil. Should have been 8-1 if not for Kuemper lol.

Looks like Pickard is our guy. Another solid game by him.

I was just expecting him to at least be able to come in and be a physical bottom 6 pest

But he's been so much more. He's getting a lot of chances and generating a lot and looking like him old self. I guess maybe we should've trusted him when he said he's feeling better than he has in a long time. You just never know with all those surgeries how his body would hold up, but so far physically and mentally he's pretty much the guy we got when he came from San Jose.

Really shutting up those people that were talking about trading him or buying him out

I will say this the team as a whole played smarter in front of Pickard. There were even a few times I noticed that we would make a mistake in our own end, but we actually reacted and prevented that mistake from being another higher danger chance against.

Not sure where LA is without Kuemper, unreal performance again.

Yep, I kept saying he's the exact kind of player you want in the playoffs. He plays playoff type mode all season long.

Even in the regular season he was missed. Guys like him get the rest of the team engaged too. Didn't have enough guys in the lineup during the year willing to do it.

With that being said I know people have their beef with the way Knobs coaches at times, but it sure does seem like his game plan is to get the puck deep and pound the Kings defense. The hits per 60 are just something else right now.

We went from dead last at 15/gp to 40/gp, and in the playoffs that will wear guys down in a 7 game series. Especially when LA likes to shorten their bench too.

The funny thing is if LA didn't play the 1-2-2 they'd probably be doing a lot better. Our defense isn't exactly the best under pressure, yet they've felt the need to not pressure them.

New Jersey Devils go from one of the worst teams in the league, and an under .500 team to the Stanley Cup finals lol. Here's a bold prediction, this season will be filled with unknowledgeable hockey blogs from you.
- ALEDDO

Yeah I remember you. The Devils were also 9th in the NHL right up until Jack Hughes was injured so maybe my prediction wasn't completely without merit.

Edmonton outshot the Kings 19-4 in the first period. The most action Pickard got was when he’d skate to the bench and back during the TV timeouts.
