I don’t know if Markstrom gets moved. It looks like one team is bidding on him. He’ll bring more in the summer.

Here is one for ya!!!

"One month ago, the Vancouver Canucks acquired forward Elias Lindholm from the Calgary Flames in a trade to bolster the organization’s top-six. Now, it appears that Lindholm’s days in Vancouver may be numbered, as Chris Johnston of TSN is reporting that the Canucks have spoken with the Boston Bruins about flipping Lindholm in order to acquire Jake Guentzel from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

In theory, a trade could work between the three teams, but there will undoubtedly be a lot of moving parts in any trade of this magnitude. Hypothetically, the Bruins could send a package of Jake DeBrusk and John Beecher to the Penguins, with the Canucks sending Vasily Podkolzin to Pittsburgh as well."

This sounds like Doobie's doings!

There is so much fake hype and hoopla surrounding this TDL. It’s more likely to be disappointing with a flurry of minor and depth moves.

Babcock doesn't use thumb drives. That's why he only takes players with flip phones.

Unlike some years, all the big names have yet to be moved so there is going to be a flurry of moves with only a few days to go. It's going to be chaos. I can't wait.

Ek is probably purposely keeping us in the dark about moves he knows are going to happen. He knows it’s going to be epic. There will be a plethora of moves culminating in a tsunami of blockbusters on the 8th.

Been saying this for awhile. The owner of the Flames has had his fingerprints over every deal being made (or not made). While every ownership group is somewhat involved I think the Flames owner is hurting his team more than helping. But as owner I guess it’s his prerogative.

There’s been a “Toronto tax” ever since BT resigned and came to Toronto. I don’t believe that this unwillingness to deal with BT unless he overpays comes from Conroy. Conroy got a promotion after BT left so why would he have any animosity towards him?. It’s coming from the Flames owner. If I’m right then this is not a good way to do business.
